Old Business

2005 Gala Update

We have sold 15 tables, to date.  Table prices are $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000.  Individual non-member reservations are $100/person. SAAHJ members will receive the special reservation price of $45; members may bring 1 guest at the member price.  $700 in donations has been received from invitees not able to attend. There has also been a good response for silent auction items; deadline for listing in the invitation is Saturday, April 30. Invitations will go out in May. Fabiola Santiago wrote a scholarship news release and distributed it to Express-News and Texas Public Radio.  Fabiola needs help making scholarship follow-up calls; please let her know if you have a contact at a high school or university.  Teresa offered to run ads in the Express-News: a scholarship ad in May and a gala ad in June or July.  Scholarship applications must be postmarked by Saturday, May 28.
